He exemplified Christian faith by loving and taking care of his family and putting God first, being a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.
Mr. Meredith is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jane (Quire); two daughters, Rachel and Rebekah Meredith; two grandchildren, Jace and Kate Meredith; his mother, Judy Meredith; his father, Albert Meredith; a brother, Mark Meredith (Patsy); and a sister, Karen Lazado (Willie).
His funeral will be on Wednesday at 11:30am at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2pm until 8pm.
David was an Air Force veteran and worked as a machinist and tool and die maker for over 29 years, working most recently at Atlas Machine and Supply. David was an avid U of K fan. He was a member of Beechland Baptist Church.
