Born on July 4, 1951, in Winchester, TN, Debbie was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruby Robinson. She grew up in a close-knit family and graduated from Huntland High School in 1969. A talented athlete, she played basketball helping to lead her team to a 24th District Championship.
For more than 30 years, Debbie worked as a Dental Assistant at the same practice, where she became a beloved part of the team. Her kindness, dedication, and care for her patients made a lasting impact on everyone she met.
More than anything, Debbie loved her family. She was a devoted wife to Marion “Stoney” Brown for 55 years and a proud mom to her sons, Scott Brown (Tracy) and Jeffrey Brown (Holly). Her biggest joy was being Grammy to Braxton, Bailey, Gracie, and Addie, who brought so much light into her life.
She is survived by her siblings, Louise Parks (late John Parks), Dean Garrett (late Cordell Garrett), Peggy Higley (late Skip Higley), Buck Robinson (Kay Robinson), and Dwight Robinson (Lena Sue Robinson).
Debbie had a heart as big as her love for family and friends. She radiated warmth, generosity, and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her compassion extended beyond people—she had a deep love for animals, often rescuing and caring for those in need. She will also be remembered by her beloved dog Angel who was always by her side.
She will be deeply missed, but her love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11AM to 2PM. A funeral service will be held after at 2PM in the funeral home chapel.
