Diane Daugherty

Diane Marie Daugherty, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was born in Lompoc, California to the lates’ Jesse and Rosie Haven on June 9, 1951. Diane was very smart and artistic. She was an awesome secretary until becoming a mom. She enjoyed sewing and had a very strong faith. Diane was a long-time member of Overdale Global Methodist Church. Her faith was shown in many ways such being the treasurer for church and a preschool teacher. Diane was everything to everyone and was described as, “The strongest woman in the world”.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; brother, Jesse Ray Haven & Sharon; sister, Rosalie Sandmann & Jerry.

Left to cherish Diane’s memory are her daughters, Tammy A Hill (Arlis), Denise M. Waters (James), bonus daughter, Kristie Powell (Bill); grandchildren, Staci A. Jones (Marcellous), Kayla R. Brutscher Clark (Corey), Michelle L. Adwell (Paul Andersen), Bryan W. Horton (Desray Horton), Emily B. Shawver (Brandon), Kelsi S. Hill, James Alan Waters (Tiffany), Jacob T. Waters (Brittany); sister-in-law, Darleen Beavers (Ralph); nieces and nephews, Jean Sandmann, Jimmy Sandmann (Jamie), Jesse Sandmann (Catherine), Cindy Haven, Ange Tims (Brian), Laura Haven; her fur baby, Lucy; and many extended family members, dear friends, and neighbors.

Visitation for Diane will be Friday, March 28, 2025 from 11:00am to 7:00pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, 40047.
