grandchildren Jesse, Justin and Kathryn and some very special nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by her husband of 59 years, John Gruber.
She had a kind, gentle spirit and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved children
and was known in the neighborhood as Aunt Dee. She was the sweetest person I’ve ever known. We
will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village (7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY,
40222) on May 10, 2022, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 with burial to
follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
