Don retired from USPS; was a 1964 graduate of Seneca High School. Don served as a Seabee in Vietnam in 1966-1967 in MCB40. He had a great sense of humor and loved life. He liked a good beer, peanuts, whoppers and a shot or two of rum. He worked with the Boy Scouts of America and was an honorary Girl Scout with his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his daughter.
Don is survived by his wife, Candy; three sons; two stepsons; seven grandchildren; brothers, Mitchell (Linda), Jeff (Linda); sister, Darlene (Pete).
Funeral service will be 1pm, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40218 with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mt. Washington, KY 40047.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
