Born to the late Billy D. Burge and Jo Ann Burge
Ansert. Don was also proceeded in death by his beloved wife Jodi Burge and his sister, Mary Wilson.
Here to carry on Don's memory is his daughter, Brittany Burge. He is also survived by his sister Lisa Comstock(Kevin), brother, David Burge, sister Nancy Malcom, stepsister, Joann Moore(Mike) and stepbrother, Michael Ansert(Carolyn) and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and a large extended family
Don retired from the City of Monterey California after a long career in the Traffic Signal Division in 2016.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.
Visitation and a celebration of life service will be held at Watkins United Methodist Church, 9800 Westport Road, Louisville KY 40241 on Friday December 5 2025 from 12 pm to 2pm.
