Donald Edward Hatfield, 73, of Louisville passed away, Wednesday March 16, 2016. He was born on November 15, 1942 in Louisville KY. Don was an avid UK sports fan and loved to vacation. He was a friend to many and will be truly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Phyllis Melvin Hatfield, his first wife Sharon Hatfield, children, John (Robin) Hatfield, David (Kelly) Hatfield, Michelle (Jeff) Fortwengler and Joseph (Nicole) Perkins, grandchildren, Brett (Emilie), Corey (Kelsie), Sean, Dalton, Jeffery, Chris, Triston, Breeana and Grayson, his brother, Albert Wyssbrod and several nieces and nephew.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ovie and Bessie Hatfield and Lorrain Wyssbrod, a son, Timothy Lee Hatfield and his sister, Charlene Miller.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am until the time of service at 2pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Norton Cancer Institution for cancer research.
