He was preceded in death by his sons, Danny Lee Robinson and Derek Lane Robinson; grandchildren, Donald L. Robinson III and Jessica Hansford; brothers, Kenny Robinson and Jerry Robinson; and his sister, Paula Bradbury. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Murphy Robinson; his children, Darrell Robinson, Donna Hansford, Donald "Rob" Robinson Jr.(Carmeta); and Dianna Smith(Ronald Jr.); his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Robinson(Cleo); and a sister-in-law, Alma Breazeale.
Funeral service will be 1:30pm Monday, March 15, 2021 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11am-1:30pm that Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
