She was born September 6, 1930 in Louisville, the daughter of Walter and Thelma Leanhardt Singer, who preceded her in death.
Doris was a homemaker and a member of Anglican Episcopal Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Rev. Reeder W. McDonald; one daughter, Vicki Dennison; one son, Phillip W. McDonald; one brother, Raymond Singer;and three grandchildren, Lisa, Melody and Shannon.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 - 8 PM on Monday and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday.
