Doris May Miller

Miller, Doris Mae entered into eternal rest on June 2, 2015. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. When she was able, Doris loved to travel with her family on vacations. One of her favorite things was to make an occasional jaunt to a casino and give Lady Luck a spin. She was a graduate of the University of Louisville. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Edwin Wiest; sisters, Peggy Combest and Shirley Homeiester; and husbands, Nick McCune, James Keefe, and Edgar Miller.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lee Michael McCune (Kathleen), Beverly Ballinger, Dennis Keefe (Aggie), Patrick Keefe (Betsy), Debbie Johnson (Carl), Tony Miller, and Jeanette Lucas (Oliver); 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be Monday at noon at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be offered in the form of memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
