She was born February 20, 1924 in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of the late Francis G. and Shirley (Lamson) Hufford. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Rawlings; and three siblings, Duane and Richard Hufford and Shirley Norby.
She leaves behind four children, Sharon Jaracz (Thad), Henry Rawlings II (Jo Ann); Laura Koch (John) and Sandra Rawlings; nine grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed.
A service to celebrate Doris’s life will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Visitation will be one hour prior at 11:00 AM
