Dorothy was born on December 29, 1925 in Campbellsville, KY to the late N.B. and Emma Karnes. She was a member of Jeffersontown Methodist Church, and is preceded in death by her daughter, Trina Brown, sisters, Emily Cundiff and Louise Phillips; and her brother, James Karnes.
Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband of 66 years, Ansul Curry Jr.; children, Sharon Cundiff (Mike), Carol Smith (Tom) and Ron Curry (Terry); grandchildren, Rachel Cundiff, Marissa Cundiff, David Curry, Jessica James, Kristin Smith, Brandon Smith and Justin Brown; along with her 9 great grandchildren.
A visitation will take place on Friday, March 30th from 4-8pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, March 31st at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
