Dorothy Lois Goodwin

Dorothy Lois Goodwin 91, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018. Mrs. Goodwin was a homemaker, loving mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also a 62 year member of Green Acres Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Boliver and Vera Wells, husband, Pleas Goodwin Jr., infant daughter, Bonnie Gayle and brothers, Burton and Hubert Wells.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Carson (Susan) and Norris Goodwin; grandchildren, Dale Goodwin (Kristin) and Kristin Houston (Adam); great-grandchildren, Carson, Whitman, Preston, Henry and James; and siblings, Wanda Adams and Glen Wells.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday 5:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm Sunday until the time of the service. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Dorothy's family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Symphony At Oaklawn for their wonderful compassion and care. Memorial donations in Dorothy's name may be directed to Hosparus of Louisville.
