

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, to Wilma Singleton and Earl Hornung, Earlene lived a life grounded in love, resilience, and quiet strength. A proud Louisvillian who loved Big Red and White Castle, she touched the lives of many with her kindness and gentle spirit.
Earlene spent her working years at Armour Packing House and Kroger, where she retired from both.
In 1974, she found her spiritual home, beginning a lifelong journey of faith. Her love for God guided her life and brought peace to those around her.
She is survived by her daughter Dana Tuten (Mark), her grandchildren Mark, Timmy, and Kristin, her beloved brother Earl Jr., and 14 great-grandchildren; Mark, Aubrey, Ryan, Noah, Kyla, Shannon, Mason, Alayna, Michael, Liam, Emarie, Blake, Gregory, Matthias, Emilia who filled her heart with joy. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Eddie Motley, sister Donna Sue, and grandson Kevin Tuten, with whom she now will be in peace with.
Earlene’s presence was a gift—calm, comforting, and full of love. Her memory will live on in every heart she touched.
A celebration of her life will be held at Rest Haven, Louisville, Ky, where family and friends will gather to honor a beautiful life, deeply cherished and well lived
A visitation for Earlene will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral at 1:00 PM.
