Edward Beavers, 80, of Louisville KY peacefully passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at home. He was born in Washington County KY on April 5, 1941. He married Dorothy Lindsey on September 13, 1969. Edward had a career in Auto Mechanics for Puckett Shell, Suburban Shell, and Ochnser’s Garage. He drove Figure 8 Cars, loved bowling, and NASCAR.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Bertis and Wanda Beavers; and brother, Bobby Beavers.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy; children, Dianne Tingle (Danny), James (Rebecca), Bertis Wayne, Carl Lynn, Tracy, and Michael Beavers; Austin Beavers, a grandson and loving and compassionate caregiver; six more grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren; siblings, Lois Hill, Brenda Burton, Janice Jefferson (Joe), Eugene (Lorraine), Kenneth (Yanexy), Jerry (Teresa), Donald Beavers; sister-in-law, Susie Beavers; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. A eulogy by John Brown will be at 6:00pm. Entombment will be private.
