Edwin S Tharp, 87 of Louisville, passed away January 12, 2011. Mr. Tharp was a Navy Veteran, a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and the Kosair Shrine, he was also a retired employee of Phillip Morris.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lee Tharp, children: Patricia Burton (Robert), Steve Tharp (Janice), grandchildren: Kelly Rummelhart, Ashley Burton and Anna Burton, great grandchildren: Ruby Rummelhart, Preston Rummelhart and Sawyer Rummelhart.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 15, 2011 at Arch L. Heady & Son - Okolona Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 11 a.m. the day of the service.
