To my sweet friend Laney. You were one of the most selfless and caring people that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you for sharing your kindness and love with so many of us in this world. You made it a point to reach out, pray and lift up those that were going through a sickness, needed help, or just knowing that they weren't alone as you were dealing with your own health struggles. You were one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters with numerous FB post to keep my spirits up as I was going through Chemotherapy. You chose joy over sadness, strength over pain with a resilience and determination to never give up. Everyone loved you and I felt that you had my back no matter what. You were a fearless Earth Angel that I'll never forget. God Bless you, you've earned your wings, fly high and rest in peace. Prayers for the Ashby/Blandford family and friends.🙏❤

Elaine, Michelle and David grew up in the same neighborhood, we played together when we were kids. I have spoken to Elaine a few different times in the last few years and it’s been a Blessing for her funny comments. I went and spent time with her a few years back at the hospital and it was a Blessing to be able to see her and hug my Childhood friend. You’re in Heaven Now next to God and we will all see you soon. We met at the bus stop in 7th grade; we quickly became friends. I remember Friday night skating, getting ready at your house, our little neighborhood group smoking and running the streets. We had some great times back in the day. We lost touch for many years and reconnected on Facebook. I admired how you weren't afraid to say what was on your mind, you always told it like it was. You were a good, loyal and dear friend. Knowing you're now pain free doesn't make you not being here any easier. Rest in peace.

I was a brand new nurse, first day off of orientation. Elaine was my very first patient I ever had. I remember I was so incredibly nervous, I didn’t want to make anytime of mistake and wanted to look like I knew what I was doing. I remember shy fully introducing myself and she made me feel so loved and
comfortable. She encouraged me and ALWAYS saw the good in me. We talked like we had known each other forever. I wish everyone
had the chance to meet her because no matter what kind of day you had, she would always make it better. I will miss her so much!

Where do I even begin, she was one of the kindest souls to ever walk this earth. She constantly put others before herself and never thought twice about it. She touched so many hearts and so many lives and will forever be missed by our family and friends. I’m so proud to have been named after her and will forever cherish it. She was the best aunt I could have asked for and I will thank god forever that he chose her to be my aunt, you will be so missed aunt Elaine, we love you 💔

My mommy. My everything. The lord has called one of his strongest soldiers to come home. To know Elaine was to LOVE Elaine. There’s no words that can express how amazing she is. I cherish every moment we’ve ever had and promise to do everything I’ve ever dreamed of. I will make you so proud and I know you’ll be with me every step of the way. This is not a goodbye but simply a I’ll see you later. Continue to protect me and your sweet grandson. He will forever be Mimi’s boy and I promise to tell him everyday how much you love him. Unfortunately , I cannot say that I got the pleasure of meeting Elaine , but I felt like I knew her through the stories her sister Michelle would share with me. I missed out by not getting to know Elaine , but at least I get to hear about what a true angel Elaine was and still is. My sincerest condolences to her entire family.  May God bless each of you with the joy that Elaine shared selflessly. Michelle , she will always be around for you ❣️

Elaine, we met on facebook with you in Kentucky and me in Dunedin, New Zealand. Both going through very similar things with bad relationships. I was so very happy when Donnie came into your life. There is so much love there. You would tell me all about your beautiful Kaitlyn. You would pray so much for my little sister who was battling her brain cancer and I was bringing up her baby who is now a grownup. I am so happy you got to meet Kaitlyns baby. You had so much pain in that body but you kept going and I don't know how you did.  Elaine, it has been awhile since we talked. My life has been crazy and I will always miss your kind heart. You are now  in heaven and no doubt watching over so many and still helping others. Thank you for being my friend for many years. RIP you are free from pain now
