She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvell Payne.
She is survived by her four children, Barbara Perkins, Geri Weber, Mark Payne (Lila) and Debra Seawright; sister, Della Fitzgerald; brother, Thomas Owens; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of Emma's life will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, with interment at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
