Evalyn Lucille Zabel Tenopir, 97 of Bonnieville, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born to Ferdinand Zabel & Mary Angel Schimmel Zabel in Western, Nebraska on June 6, 1923.
In 1945, Evalyn graduated Nursing School from Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. She resided in Crete, Nebraska where she worked at Crete Municipal Hospital and later as a school nurse at the Crete Public Schools for 17 years.
Most recently, she lived with her daughter, Mary Humphrey, and her husband at their residence in Bonnieville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband, Raymond Tenopir.
Left to cherish her memory, her children, Mary Humphrey (Ken), Robert Tenopir (Chris), Susan Tenopir, Rick Tenopir (Deb), Julie Stovall (Terry), & James Tenopir (Christine Gepte); 8 grandchildren; & 9 great-grandchildren.
Services to Celebrate Evalyn’s life will be held at a later date.
