Frances Marie Wilkerson, 85, of Louisville, passed away on the evening of April 16, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was a native of Lime Stone County, AL, and the former Frances Jones. She retired from the JCPS. Frances was an avid bowler, gardener and quilter. She was a great cook and loved spending time with family and friends during the holidays.
Predeceasing her was her husband, Henry H. Wilkerson; daughter, Diana; parents and several siblings.
Survived by her children, Pat Harris, Jack (Darlene), Michael and Billy Joe Wilkerson, Renee' (Tom) Jenkins and Lisa Baker; sisters, Geneva Hamlin, Gladys Jean, and Elaine Smith; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from noon -8 p.m. at the funeral home.
