Cook, Frank “Sonny” James, 75, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. He was born in Louisville to the late Frank and Lula (Raeuchle) Cook. Frank is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela Cook. Frank worked as a heavy equipment operator for Louisville Gas and Electric Company and a mechanic; he was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Abigail Decker (Donald), Julia Catron (the late, Marty Sr.), and Pamela Bacon (Greg); brother, William Cook (Ruth Ann); sisters, Judy Willits (Clyde) and Sharon Tucker (Astor); 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville Kentucky, 40218. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday from 12:00pm until the time of service.
