

Fred was born February 22, 1944 in Louisville, and lived his life there with his wife and son.
He was a veteran of the US Army, where he served proudly and received all promotions meritoriously. A retiree of Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 33 years until he retired in 1998. He was also well known for his breeding and love of Champion American Staffordshire Terriers. Fred honored God and was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Alice Jones; and his parents, Dorothy Pace and E.F. Sindelar Sr.
Fred was blessed with many friends and family who will miss him greatly.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Evelyn; his son, Roger; and two grandchildren. Fred also leaves behind 3 sisters; Gerry Cotton, Renny Bolin (Kevin), and Debbie Pace Hess (Jay). Fred was loved by and blessed with the Mudd Clan, as he fondly referred to Evelyn's family.
A service to celebrate Fred's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 7410 Westport Road/Herr Lane. Friends may visit noon - 2 p.m. on Sunday.
