Gary was born in Sasebo Japan on March 13, 1973 to Gary Lee Holmes Sr. and Margaret Pike Holmes, who are both proud Navy Veterans.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Sue Pike; and Vern & Phyllis Holmes.
Gary was an avid UK, San Francisco 49ers, and Celtics Fan. He was a bartender and server for over 25 years. He will be remembered and truly missed by his dear friends at Wick’s Pizza, where he proudly served as a bartender for the past few years.
Gary is survived by his parents, Gary Lee Holmes Sr. & Margaret Holmes; brother, Andy Holmes; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who reside in Kansas and Kentucky, along with a host of dear friends.
Visitation Friday, September 25, 2020, 2-7pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy.
