George Joe Breeding, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly January 1, 2026. He was an avid history buff, coin collector, lover of all steam trains and most importantly a kind, loving family man.
George never knew a stranger, and was often spotted walking in his neighborhood, making his rounds to say hello to everyone. He grew up in Ewing, Virginia on his family’s farm and was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. George is survived by his wife Debbie, his daughter Crystal, grandchildren Trey and Alex, and his faithful canine companion Choco.
A memorial visitation to celebrate George's life will be from 4PM - 6PM held on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville KY 40218.
