

George Calvert Cloutier entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 6, 2015. He was born on April 14, 1922 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Bernard G. Cloutier and Estelle R. (Kerins) Cloutier. George was a U.S. Navy veteran, having proudly served his country in World War II. He was retired following a long career with Jones Dabney Paint Company. George attended Walnut Street Baptist Church and, in his later years, St. Matthews Baptist Church, where he enjoyed serving as a Greeter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his dear wife of 62 years, Helen (DeShazer) Cloutier; a brother, Bernard Cloutier; and a sister, Patricia Downs.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving sister, Libby Lange; his Brother-In-Law, Brad Downs; three nieces; three nephews; and ten great nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the Belmont Village staff and residents for all their care and support, and expresses special appreciation to the staff of Hosparus, for their loving and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel on Wednesday, March 11 at 5 pm with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-5 pm, immediately prior to the funeral service.
