Elmore, George M., 78, entered into eternal rest on May 20, 2015. He was a Veteran of the Army, enjoyed motorcycles and loved animals, especially his dogs. George was a very caring person with a pure heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Arletta Elmore; and his first wife, Myrtle Elmore.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sharon Elmore; children, Nick Elmore, Karen Elmore, Bryan Elmore, and Alexis Powell; brother, Pete Elmore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday at 2pm at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of George can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
