

George was born in Nuremberg, Germany to William and Anna Lee (Kelsay) Seay, while they were stationed there in the Army. He grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee as a child and moved to Louisville in his teens. George was a student at Iroquois High School. He loved to hunt and fish, as well as throw darts. He ran several mini-marathons and loved to go to the weight room. He was an avid gun collector and could talk about that for hours. George loved to play and listen to music (except for Karaoke), but he would go to be with his friends. He especially liked to be in the garage with his dogs watching the Kentucky Wildcats play basketball. He most especially loved his children and his grandsons.
George is preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Lee and by his stepmother, Marie Seay, a brother, Ralph Seay and a sister, Patricia Edwards. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathleen (Kathy) Seay, their children, Michael Seay (Lexi), April MacDonald (Joel) and George's grandchildren, Josiah, Greyson, Asher and Leo, and son Kristopher Seay (Kelly). He is also survived by his siblings, Denise Galben (Pope), Debbie Baker (Teddy), Jack Seay, and Ron Daley. George is also survived by his two dogs, Colonel and Darla as well as many nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from, 2-7 PM at Muldraugh Baptist Church, 307 South Main Street, Muldraugh KY 40155.
A memorial service at the church will start at 7PM following the visitation. Burial will be at a private service later.
