

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie Mae Troutman, his mother and father, Roscoe and Eula Troutman, and his sister, Violet.
He is survived by his son John D. Troutman (Leslie), and his daughter Angela L. Williams, 6 grandchildren; Racheal, Maegan, Victoria, John II, Jesse, Samantha, and 9 great grandchildren.
He was a loving and devoted Husband and Father. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a proud member of the Masonic Lodge where he served with honor for over 50 years. In 1969 he was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Louie B. Nunn.
He was employed by General Electric, Building 2, Appliance Park for over 30 years. During this time he also served as a Shop Steward for Local 761, IUE-AFL-CIO.
He was a man of strong faith and worshiped at the former Adair Assembly of God, Seaton Park Baptist, and Buechel Park Christian Assembly.
The funeral will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home at 4623 Preston Highway Louisville, KY 40213. The burial will immediately follow on location at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3pm-8pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home.
