German was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired chemical operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Antonio Irizarry and Marie Antonia Lamberty, and siblings Manuel Jr, Efrain, Mario, Alcidas, Adam, Israel, Gladys, Haydee, and Edith.
He is survived by his brother, Evelio Irizarry, sister-in-laws Tonita & Martha, his three children, Rich Irizarry (Sharon), Karen Newsome (Les), and Mike Irizarry; four grandsons Bryan, Joshua, Andrew Newsome, and Allan Irizarry. Four great grandchildren; Lillyanne, Melody, Eloise, and Genevieve Newsome.
A great father, grandfather, and friend, he never met a stranger and was loved, respected, and cherished by all who knew him.
