

Gilbert “Gilbo” Duncan, 74, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 1, 2018. Gilbert worked for Bill Collins Ford and coached basketball and football for several local schools. He was an U.S. Army veteran, alumni of Male High School and an avid University of Kentucky fan. Gilbert was a member of Elk Lodge 8 and Woodhaven Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf. He was a former co-owner of Jocks Sports Bar and Grill. Gilbert loved to have a good time. He was a former dance instructor and never missed a beat. Gilbert was a lucky man. He had found the love of his life, Linda, whom he was married to for 40 years. Gilbert was a one of a kind man who had many friends. He will be missed.
Preceding him in death are his parents; Margaret and Gilbert Duncan Sr. His uncle, Ivan Duncan and his grandmother, Rosalee Duncan who raised him most of his life.
Left to cherish Gilbert’s memory is his wife, Linda “The Dove”. His children; Donnie Donoho (Lynn), Denise Hoskinson (Greg). Grandchildren; Tommy Pass Jr., Callie Pass and Brent Donoho. Sister; Sandra Laswell (Frank) and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Gilbert will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 1:00pm-8:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 2:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY.
