She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Clarence M. McCawley; beautiful daughter, Sharon J. Hayes; beautiful granddaughter, Christy Peyton; and brother, Melvin T. Hartline.
Left to cherish Gladys' memory are her daughters, Susan Jackson and Charlotte Foster; grandchildren, Melissa Doggett (Robert), Shelli Mills, Angela Donlon (Brian), Stacy Foster (Duane), and Steven Odd (Stephanie); 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
