Glenda J. Mills, 70, of Louisville passed away November 7, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 13, 1944 in Louisville to the late Clifford and Gladys McLarney. Glenda was a member of the Moose Lodge #5 and was of the Baptist faith. Through most of her life she worked in various daycares.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Sonny McLarney.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband, William H. Mills; children, Robert G. Lamoureaux, Bill Mills (Patti), Dawn Yakimovicz (John) and Scott Mills (Aleigha); five grandchildren, Scott, Aaron, Sabrina, Chris and Holly; two sisters, Doris Butler (Joe) and Beatrice Shelton; a sister-in-law, Hildegard McLarney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the exceptional care and compassion shown to them from the Elmcroft Community in Mount Washington.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:00 am at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven,4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Sunday at the funeral home.
