Greg was a corporate pilot and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after 28 years as an air traffic controller. He loved golfing, fishing, biking, and birdwatching. Greg volunteered for Facing Hunger Food Bank in Huntington and was a former usher at Teays Valley Baptist Church while living in West Virgina.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara, their daughter Jennifer Bailey Carr (Kristoffer), and his loving dog, Toby. Preceding him in death were his parents Howard Bailey and Frances Lewis Bailey, and his brothers Norm Bailey and Jim Bailey.
A private memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dare to Care Food Bank in Louisville, Kentucky, or Facing Hunger Food Bank in Huntington, West Virgina. Greg cared strongly about both organizations.
