Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Janet Daunoras Miller, brother, Bradley (Robin) Metcalf, sister, Lynn (Dr. P. Jonathon) Phillips, his mother-in-law, Ruth Daunoras, sister-in-law, Diane (Allan) Eklund, brother-in-law, Anthony Daunoras, three nephews, and three nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard A. Daunoras, and brother-in-law, Richard E. Daunoras.
Greg’s educational journey led him to study at Glassboro State College and Boston University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1967 to 1971, on the U.S.S. Forrestal. In his professional endeavors, Greg held a career as a Corporate Video Director and Producer.
Greg's interest and involvement with the local VFW reflected his commitment to service and community. He was also an avid enthusiast of all things aviation and maritime.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26th, 2026 from 9:00am to 10:15am, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40222. A funeral mass will follow the visitation, at the same location, starting at 10:15am.
