Grethel Owens, 92, of Louisville, passed away November 15, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Bessie Short; her loving husband, Ozark Owens; her daughter, Zada Nooteboom; granddaughter, Jennifer Nooteboom; and 9 brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Solomon Owens, and Ima Holland (Hugh McBurney); 5 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; and many other loving family members.

The Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 2-8pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial has been entrusted to Hindman Funeral Home.
