He was born in Newark Valley, New York on March 19, 1947, to Harley S. Davis & Kathryn Yedder Davis.
Marty was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, having served his country during the Vietnam War. For over 30 years he was a member of the AMVETS Post #61 where he served as Past Commander. He also served as J.A. for the AMVETS Department of Kentucky for over 25 years. Marty was very dedicated to his work for the AMVETS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley S. & Kathryn Davis.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gloria Davis; sons, Martin A. Davis (Mary Ann) & Daniel K. Davis; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard K. Davis (Arlene).
In an effort to adhere to regulations from the CDC and the state of Kentucky regarding COVID-19, services for Marty will be private. A Celebration of Marty’s life will be arranged at a later date.
