Mehling, Harold R. “Mike” 94, of Louisville passed from this life on Wednesday April 30, 2014 at Parkway Medical Center. A native of Ferdinand, IN. he was a former owner of the Convient Food Mart at Quarry Center, a member of St. James Church, Moose Lodge #5, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Mehling; and a son, Michael Mehling. He is survived by a daughter, Karen Cooksey (Irvin); a son, David Mehling (Marie); 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mr. Mehling’s life will be held at 10 am Monday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Corydon, IN. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Sunday.
