Jack was born September 4, 1926 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to James “Ford” & Neoma Crady. He served in the United States Army faithfully serving his nation as a Military Policeman during World War II being awarded the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was also a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church. He was met at Heaven’s Gate by friends & relatives who preceded him in Christ.
Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Crady; parents, James “Ford” & Neoma Crady; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; stepson, Nathan Nicholas; and grandchildren, Nicholas Parnell & Madelyn Nicholas.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jean Adkison (Phil), Lisa Carnforth (Greg), Kim Parnell; stepchildren, George Nicholas (Patsy), Linda Gibson (Jesse), Steve Nicholas (Debbie), Alice Vaughn (Doug), Nancy Perry (Jeremy); 25 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews plus a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
