Jack Blakeman Brewer, 80, of Louisville passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. He was born December 10, 1934 in Springfield KY, to the late Blakeman and Francis Parrish Brewer. Jack was an Army veteran and a Deacon with Green Acres Baptist Church.
Jack is survived by his wife of 35 years, Verla Brewer, children, Teresa, Ricky, Cary, Carla and Carl Jr., nine grandchildren and two nieces.
In addition to his parents Jack is preceded in death by a sister, Sue Carol Tingle.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be conducted Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 at 2pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a private interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Green Acres Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
