James "Chris" Brown

He was born James Christopher Brown in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday, December 15, 1965, to parents James Robert Brown and Susan Hattemer Wilkerson. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #5, the Shidoobee Group and the Derby City Norsemen. Chris was the owner and operator of Chris Brown Lawn Service and held a true passion for motorcycles, dirt bikes, traveling to the white sand beaches, and Rock & Roll. Most of all Chris, loved his family immensely.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, James Robert Brown.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sharon Brown; sons, Max Brown and Zane Brown; his mother, Susan Wilkerson; his four legged companion, Roscoe; siblings, Joe (Carollyn), Nicole (David), Taylor and Lindsey (Russ); his step – mother, Cathy; several nieces and nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The family wishes to extend a sincere heartfelt “Thank you” to the wonderful team at Hosparus and to his many loyal lawn care customers.

Per his wishes, Chris will be cremated. A Celebration of Life is Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 1pm - 4pm at the Moose Lodge #5.
