J.C. was retired from Phillip Morris after 30 years of service and was a leader of Boy Scout Troop #190 for 19 years and a leader for the Handicapped Scout Troop #208, and was an avid U of K fan.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marcella Ruth Duncan; son James Anthony “Tony” Duncan; grandson Anthony Tyler McCoy; parents Henry E. and Hazel Wallace Duncan.
Survivors include his daughter Tammy McCoy (Ernie) of Vine Grove,KY; grandsons Curtis, Ethan, and Henry McCoy; son Jamie Duncan; brother William David Duncan; sisters Becky Duncan, Ella Mae Bross and Millie Francis Nair, all of Louisville; and Mary Helen Aubry of Hodgenville, KY; 6 nephews; 5 nieces; 24 great-nieces and nephews; 16 great-great nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial Louisville Memorial Garden West. Visitation Friday 1:00 P.M.-8:00 P.m. at the funeral home.
