James, affectionately known as Tab, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He dedicated many years of service at General Electric before retiring in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Hunter.
Tab is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Rose Marie Hunter, his sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Crabb and her husband Robert, along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM on the same day at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
