He was a member of the graduating class of ’75 at New Albany High School, and a graduate of Indiana University. Jim loved the outdoors where he enjoyed skiing, boating, fishing, playing tennis. But the most important thing in his life was his son, Adam and his family.
Jim is survived by his son, Adam Hahn Hutchens; wife, Dale Hahn Hutchens; siblings, Robert A. Hutchens, David M. Hutchens (Becky), William E. Hutchens (Vicki), Kathryn S. Hutchens, John F. Hutchens, Mary P. Ash (William), and Janet M. Kean (Ronnie); and 20 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Jim will be held privately.
In lieu of customary expressions the family has requested memorial donations be made in Jim’s name to the Waldorf School of Louisville 7th Grade Class, 8005 New LaGrange Rd., Louisville, KY 40222
