Jim was not only one of the best bosses I have ever worked for, but he was also a kind and good person! Everyone that knew him had a great deal of respect for him. It is truly because of his vision and efforts that there is eye banking in Kentucky. I am proud to tell people that I was trained by Jim. I am very sad that his last few years were so hard. The world lost a great man when it lost Jim. He will always be remembered with great fondness.

To Aunt Jean.  This is your nephew, Keith Little.  I know we weren't as close as we should have been.  I love you and miss you.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  If you need anything let me know.

Jean, I was saddened and surprised to hear about Jim.  I know you will miss him alot, hold on to the good memories.

We will always remember Jim as a genuinely kind man who's gentile demeanor and sense of humor and good will was evident even when we saw him last and his health was failing.  Jean, you are a special couple and your love and care for each other a tribute to you both.  You and your family are in the prayers of all of us at Walgreens.

Jim and I shared some truly remarkable days playing golf and enjoying poker games with friends. Jim was a treat to befriend, a real joy to converse with, and a great jokester! He was a sincere leader and mentor to his colleagues in the Eye Bank arena and really enjoyed his Profession. Without fail Jim always spoke of his Love for Jean, Tyler and family. I will always appreciate the moments we shared and the memories I have of our friendship.

Jim was a great brother-in-law, he was always there when I needed him.He will be greatly missed as we talked often on long distance.He was wanting to come out and see the Arizona mountains. May he rest in pease and be with his sister which I miss vewry much.

Jim will be dearly missed; his mischievous smile, his quick wit, his warm hugs, and fabulous chili. The world was a better place with him here; heaven will welcome him with open arms. My thoughts go out to you and Tyler. Love, kisses, and big hugs.  Ashlee and family

Uncle Jim was always so much fun and loved life.  I will always hold very loving memories of you.  He is now with Mama Mart,Daddy Jim and Mom.

I only worked with Jim for a short time, but enjoyed sharing stories of his time in Lexington.  He was always a fair person and even when things began to get rough for him, he seemed to always have a smile and be able to offer a kind word.  

I know he will be missed by his loving family and the Eye Bank community the he so dearly loved and helped nature in Kentucky.

I was only able to work with Jim for five years in the Eye Bank but I valued his friendship and collegiality, as well as his professional dedication to eyebanking and the patients we serve.  I know the last few months have been difficult for family and friends and trust that Jim is at peace.  We keep him in our prayers.
