He was born February 15, 1956 in Indiana, the son of the late James M. and Bonnie (Woosley) McCoy. He was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Lois.
Jim was handy and worked in residential and commercial maintenance most of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Marilyn McCoy; a sister, Candace; a nephew, Charles; and a niece, Bonnie.
A memorial gathering will be held in Jim’s honor from 2-6 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222.
