James "Jim" A. Sherrard Sr.

Jim was born on December 21, 1935 in Hodgensville, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arvel Sherrard; mother, Myrtle Perkins; step-father, Rodney Perkins; and his siblings, Donald Allen Sherrard, Mary Alice and Jack Sherrard.

Jim served proudly in the US Navy. He was a Police Officer for LMPD and retired after 24 years of dedicated service.

Left to cherish Jim's memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Kay Sherrard; children, Jeremy Hilbert (Nicole), Jenna sherrard; granddaughter, Serenity Sherrard and grandsons, Jeremy Paul Hilbert, Jr. and John Paul Hilbert.

Services for Jim will be private for close friends and family. Jim will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
