Jan was the beloved husband of Kimberly Whitcomb, and together they shared nearly 29 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, loyalty, and deep commitment. Family was everything to him.
He was a devoted and loving father to Kristi (Cameron) Daffron, Miranda (Christian) Seymour, Veronica (John David) Mocahbee, Joey Whitcomb, and Josh Metcalf. He was an incredibly proud grandfather to Cali, Braydan, Leo, Jaxon, Grayson, Ava, Evelyn, Henry, Owen, Emilia, and Lillian, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy.
Jan was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his selfless heart. He never hesitated to show up for others, often putting their needs before his own. He was steady, dependable, and kind—someone people could always count on.
He courageously battled metastatic prostate cancer with dignity and quiet strength. Though his body grew weak, his love for his family and his resilient spirit never faded.
Those who knew Jan will remember his generosity, his loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, service, and unconditional love.
