Lynn Distler, 60, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on the evening of February 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family, at Baptist Hospital East. She was a graduate of the University of Louisville with a masters degree, and held various leadership positions throughout her career, with her last position at RX Crossroads where she was a program manager.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Edward Distler.
Loving family survivors include her mother, Joetta Barger Distler; brothers, William E. and Scott A Distler; sister, Jill (Mark) Collins; nieces and nephews, Zack and Jackie Distler, Ali (Michael) Denbow, Taylor Distler, Chase (Amanda) Collins, and Brittany Collins; great nieces, Mary Grace Denbow and Harper Shea Collins. She truly cherished her nieces and nephews and spending time with family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
