Born to the late Paul Waddle and Dorothy Davis, Janet is also preceded in passing by her step-father Rudoph Knaus; brother Paul; and her grandson Kyle. She is survived by her adoring husband of 46 years, Herman Howell; their children Adam Howell (Kendra) and Greg Howell (Christina); siblings Pauletta LaBarbera, Benita Aprile (David) , David Knaus, and Lisa Titus (James); grandson Lance Howell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Janet retired after working diligently for over 40 years as an x-ray technician. She loved to play tennis, Scrabble, and garden. However, her favorite hobbies were reading and traveling. She loved to go to any destination with a beach. Janet held her family very close to her heart and will be deeply missed by everyone in her life.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a memorial service beginning immediately at 3:00pm in Janet’s honor. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made out in Janet’s honor to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
