Jayne was Lutheran by faith and retired from Ford after twenty-six years as an Administrative Assistant. After she retired, she was the owner and operator of Exotic Pets on Preston Hwy. She was also a member of TOPS, Red Hat Club and Parkland Live Wires. Jayne was an active traveler throughout the world and love boating on the Lake.
Her sister Velma Schifler and brother-In-Law Bud Schifler preceded Jayne in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Robin Blackshear (Greg Fleck); son, Robert Blackshear (Amy); grandchild, Britany Humphrey (Nick), great grandchildren, Aubrey and Grayson Humphrey.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12pm-6pm with a funeral service at 3pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219.
